#531 - Overcoming Frugality in Retirement with Dan Crosby

For the past ten years, we have been exploring how to do retirement right so that you can get down to the business of living a great life.

This is why this month we have had a series of special guests. Today’s guest is behavioral investment expert and author Dan Crosby. Together we explore why it is so hard to overcome your money mindset and how you can learn to let go to enjoy the money you have worked so long and hard to save.

Do you need to take a leap of faith to spend your money?

Being a good saver means that when it is time to start spending you may be faced with challenges. However, just as you don’t want to run out of money, you don’t want to end up with too much either. It takes a bit of a leap of faith to learn to let go and spend your money.

By reframing your core values you can learn new behaviors that still match your value system. There are exercises you can do to help shift your mindset that will help you learn to think and act differently. Listen in to learn how.
