Nichole Mills

Assistant to Roger/Awesome Sidekick

Affectionately known as “Rock Star,” Nichole has held various roles in the financial services industry since 2009.

She is the engine that keeps all of the business processes running and the organizational mastermind who sees Roger’s brainchildren to fruition. You may hear her pop up from time to time on The Retirement Answer Man show.

What she cares about most

Experiencing life with her amazing husband and being an engaged mom to their two sons.

What she enjoys

Good books, hot coffee, quirky humor, adventures with her people, and cooking.


Brandy Barela


Client Care & Paraplanner

Affectionately known as “the shepherd,” Brandy has a decade of experience managing and improving client care systems.

She focuses on working with the team and clients to assure all operational requests and requirements run smoothly. She is a Registered Paraplanner®.

What she cares about the most

Family; spending as much time with her littles and husband as she can.

What she enjoys

Hitting the bike trails with her family on the weekends, listening to her son play the trumpet, supporting her daughter in gymnastics, camping, and fishing.

Janine Timmermann


Senior Planner

Janine worked in the financial services industry for more than 10 years prior to becoming CEO of her household and running an award-winning photography business.

She has always enjoyed helping clients set and reach goals and prides herself on client satisfaction. She assists Roger in all things planning.

What she cares about most

Living life intentionally with her husband and 3 kids

What she enjoys

Reading, podcasts, organizing, Diet Dr. Pepper, her Instant pot, Notre Dame football and traveling. Most importantly, she loves watching her kids do what they love - tennis, gymnastics and musical theater.


Tracy Austin

RRC Community Activator

Tracy has worked in the financial services industry as an accountant since 1999.

While she has worked primarily in the nonprofit business segment, she and her husband also owned and operated a diverse business that included: single family home residential rentals; accounting & bookkeeping support services for businesses; website development; contract school bus driving; and a gymnastics tumbling studio. Tracy is a past USA Gymnastics Safety Certified Instructor. She shines her cheery personality into all her work, most especially into her role as Community Activator in the Rock Retirement Club (RRC). She assists Roger with running the RRC and is the wizard behind the firm financials.


Prioritizing relationships and living in the moment intentionally as her children are launching into their own lives and she and her husband joyfully look forward to the next chapter!


Laughing, maintaining organization, live music (especially her sons picking or singing classic rock tunes), dark chocolate, podcasts, The Purdue Boilermakers, cabin time, and the Florida gulf coast.
